Remember that post a few months back, called my "Apartment needs and wants"? Well, I have updated this list quite a bit in the past few months, and as promised here is an update!
The layout of the apartment, and the room purposes have changed slightly since I moved in, and so the list has been adjusted. I don't know if I have ever taken the time to explain my apartment set up, but basically I have three rooms: A small bathroom/walk-in-closet, another room with a kitchen on one side and space for a living room or dining room on the other, and (row-house style) the final room, where the front door is. This place is considered a studio because of where the front door is placed, and basically you walk right in to my bedroom and study, and farther back into my kitchen and even further back into my bathroom. Don't get me wrong, my apartment is great for one person and two small dogs, but add more people and things get crowded quickly.
The strange lay-out and size of the apartment has forced me to re-think and also replace a lot of my previous furniture, and so here is my new list. Crossed off items are bought and in place!

When I lived in a studio I hung curtains from the ceiling so my bed was separate from the "living" room area... I loved my studio!
